A Neighborly Partnership: West Carolina and Stoll industries

When Stoll Industries moved into their new building in Abbeville, SC, they knew their connection to the world, to dealers, and to customers, runs through their online platform. So when they realized “fast enough” internet wasn’t going to cut it, they didn’t have to look far for help.

Gary Yoder, chief marketing officer at Stoll Industries, says West Carolina didn’t just meet that need. They met it with urgency and precision.

 When Speed Couldn’t Wait

Stoll’s fractional IT and marketing team was helping the manufacturing company settle into their new space when the question of internet speed came up. So they called their West Carolina neighbors down the street.

Yoder remembers being asked what speed they were hoping for, and giving an ambitious answer. “In a perfect world, I need this,” he said. Without missing a beat, the West Carolina representative on the other end asked, “What would you like it to be?” then told him, “Let me go back to the office, and I’ll have it ready for you within an hour or so.”

Yoder admits he didn’t quite believe it. “There’s no way that’ll be today,” he remembers thinking at the time.

Thirty minutes later, he checked back in. The upgrade was already live. “I’ve never seen anything like this,” he said.

That’s the story Stoll tells about West Carolina: whenever they have a need or a question, West Carolina has been quick and ready to respond.

A Relationship Three Decades in the Making

For West Carolina, this partnership runs deeper than one fast turnaround. Vice President of Network Operations and Business Solutions, Chuck Nash has had a personal relationship with the Stoll family for more than 30 years. He even worked for Robert and Dennis Stoll earlier in his career, before moving into telecommunications.

As Nash says, Stoll’s operation was much smaller back then. But, “there was nothing small about their commitment to quality, family, and faith.”

That history is part of what makes this relationship special. “Having a customer like Stoll Industries means partnering with an organization that values quality and long-term success,” Nash says. “Ultimately, it means working with a team that wants a relationship, not just a transaction. It’s an opportunity to grow together.”

More than a Customer

Stoll Industries doesn’t just make quality products. They invest in the community around them, too. “Stoll Industries’ commitment to supporting our community and investing in local initiatives has such a positive impact on our region and the customers that we serve,” Nash says.

That’s a value West Carolina shares. Supporting our neighbors and building relationships built on trust is the foundation of everything we do. It’s not just about fast internet. It’s about showing up when it matters.

Thank you, Stoll Industries, for trusting us to support your incredible work.
