Employee Advisory Fund Donates Over $40,000 Since January  

At West Carolina, giving back isn’t just something we do – it’s part of who we are. And 2025 is already shaping up to be one of our most impactful years yet.  

Now in its second year, the West Carolina Community Foundation continues to grow, fueled by the generosity of our incredible team.  In 2024, we donated nearly $40,000 to local causes. This year, we’ve already surpassed that amount – and we’re only halfway through the year.   

This fund is supported entirely by employee contributions and a company match, making every donation even more meaningful. Our employees are passionate about supporting this initiative because they know their giving stays local – directly benefiting the communities we call home.  

One of our most recent and largest contributions to date was a $10,000 donation to Bags of Blessings. This organization plays a critical role by providing meals to children outside of school hours, ensuring no child goes hungry. We’re honored to play a small part in the incredible work they do.
